unique opportunities for you to travel, work and live abroad. Americans, Europeans, Asians age 18 to 80 have joined our volunteer vacations.

Africa Orphanages Voluntary Organization was established to introduce Western people and their culture to the local people of Africa and
involve them as much as possible in the daily life of the local people through volunteer work. Our programmes are designed to give volunteers
as rewarding and wide-ranging an experience as possible. AOVO programme is unique in giving volunteers the opportunity to work on two or more
different projects during two weeks to one month programme. Shorter options are available for people with limited time. Volunteers will be part
of a diverse mix of people from the programme host country, career gapers, gap year students, graduates, volunteers from our Youth Development
Programme, volunteer staff and international volunteers so it’s an ideal environment for learning about different people, nationalities, backgrounds,
cultures and making new friends.

		Most of the time you spend will be directly with the children. Mainly volunteers help by working in the community schools as teacher's assistants. We encourage the volunteers who come to plan activities, teach, and play with kids. Volunteers are also placed in health care centers, women’s health, working with disabled children, computer teaching, farm work, sport teaching, dance and music, drama teaching, administration fundraising and many other things.Our volunteer program selects motivated individuals to help out in Orphanages and community projects, where foundation is laid for communities to build on top. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a sincere inspiration to help those in need in Ghana,Africa especially orphaned children. The volunteers that come to work in Ghana for AOVO help in a range of ways. Mainly the volunteers provide relief for the overworked Ghanaian staff at the AOVO community schools and give much needed attention and love to the children.
